As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician you will assist the team of technicians with maintaining and supporting the electrical process control and measurement systems and other maintenance activities. You’ll be supported by your team with the possibility to grow into a Maintenance Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Maintaining and supporting electrical process control and measurement systems troubleshoot problems associated with these systems.
  • Installing and maintaining new equipment as projects dictate.
  • Participating in project planning and daily planning of maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining and optimizing distributive control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
  • Assist in the training and development and training of other maintenance technicians.
  • Utilize SAP to create and procure and maintain appropriate spare parts inventory to ensure equipment availability.
  • Drive action items to closure and communicate these corrections to all affected groups.

You bring

 

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the instrumentation and electrical I&E field.
  • Experience with plant utility services including boilers, cooling towers, water treatment, and air compressors.
  • Intermediate knowledge of ASME/API standard 653 or as required by site and NFPA standards 37,25,70,70 E
  • Basic knowledge of oil and gas production facilities and or fractional distillation facilities.
  • Basic knowledge of pump repair and alignment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic proficiency with Endress Hauser, Fisher, Emerson and Vega control types to include level, pressures, vacuum and flow rates along with RTD’s and thermocouples.
