Durarome Centrifuge Operator

Location: Anaheim, CA, US

 

The Durarome Centrifuge Operator performs routine procedures following written work instructions to complete manufacturing processes. Operates production equipment. Maintains documentation on manufacturing processes to comply with organization and regulatory standards. Maintains clean manufacturing areas, equipment, and materials

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for plant Centrifuge and Rotary Drying operations to ensure maximum quality and quantity in accordance with the company’s operation objectives while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Read batch card, work orders, recipes, or formulas in order to determine drying times and temperatures.
  • Weigh and dump or scoop prescribed solid, granular, or powdered ingredients into rotary dryer, according to formulation and batch card instruction.
  • Start rotary dryers for specified time. 
  • Observe gauges, dials, and product characteristics, and adjust controls in order to maintain appropriate temperature and flow of ingredients within prescribed limits.

You bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to troubleshoot, anticipate and correct problems associated with plant operations.
  • Knowledge of computers, office applications and accounting software. Knowledge of SAP a plus.

 

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly range: $21.00-$23.00.

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
