Laboratory Technician Support, Compounding

Job title: Laboratory Technician Support, Compounding

Location: Dubai, UAE

Temporary role - 1 year contract

Key responsibilities:

  • Sampling: Prepare fragrance oil compounds following business priorities, delivery deadlines, global lab practices, SOPs, and using available digital tools/software.

  • Manual pours: Deliver the required average number of daily manual pours set by global and lab targets, excluding tasks suited for robots unless specifically authorized, and optimize manual pours when needed.

  • Stock management (raw materials): Keep personal workbench clean and organized, maintain fresh raw materials by removing expired ones, and ensure the physical collection matches the digital system.

  • Stock management (fragrance oils): Keep fragrance oil collections for perfumers/oil library organized, updated, and aligned with lab best practices.

  • QHSS&E compliance: Follow all safety and quality procedures, maintain a clean lab, ensure all samples meet SOP quality standards before release, and report non-conformances to supervisors.

  • Continuous improvement & teamwork: Embrace continuous improvement (LEAN projects), work with a team spirit, and support colleagues during peak workloads.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or related field
  • Previous experience in a perfumery or FMCG company strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for technology
  • Self-motivated team player
