Director, Media Relations
Job title - Director, Media Relations (80053)
Location – Satigny, Geneva, Switzerland
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and values.
- Proactively identify media opportunities and cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Prepare senior company representatives for media engagements and public speaking opportunities.
- Develop inspiring stories from across our business in collaboration with experts and colleagues from the broader Communications team.
- Support and guide local communications teams and Business Units in engaging with media and build capabilities.
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization, responding to media inquiries, participating in interviews, driving financial communications, and shaping and delivering key messages effectively.
- Co-develop company positions and create press releases, media kits, FAQs and other materials to support media engagement.
- Provide support and/or manage crisis and issue communications in close collaboration with Corporate & Public Affairs and local leaders.

You Bring:
- MSc. in communications, public relations, journalism, or business.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in media relations, journalism or public affairs.
- Proven track record of successful tier-1 media engagement with expertise in issue and crisis management, and experience as a spokesperson.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and balanced messaging.
- High level of seniority, given contacts with executive management and company representative function.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and deep understanding of global media landscape.
- Proficiency in English (Native/C2); French/German is an asset.
