We’re thrilled to be building the technology capability for Sustainability at dsm-firmenich. As a Product Manager in the Digital & Tech Sustainability domain, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and leading transformative digital solutions that deliver meaningful business impact.
You’ll collaborate closely with Business Product Owners to co-create strategic roadmaps for digital products, ensuring every initiative is aligned with and accelerates the company’s strategic goals. This role is a dynamic blend of vision and execution—translating strategy into action while leading cross-functional teams from ideation to delivery and owning end-to-end accountability for successful product outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Definition: Partner with Business Product Owners to co-create and continuously refine the strategic roadmap for your digital products, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and digital transformation priorities.
- Value Delivery & Outcome Alignment: Ensure that digital products deliver measurable value and are tightly aligned with business strategic outcomes, using KPIs and success metrics to track impact.
- End-to-End Product Ownership: Own the full lifecycle of the product—from ideation and design to development, launch, optimization and adoption—ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with a product squad or as part of a project team.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to drive collaboration and execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for product-related communication, managing expectations and fostering transparency across all levels of the organization.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to keep the product relevant and competitive

You bring
- 10+ years of experience in digital or digital adjacent areas and Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Computer Sciences, Reporting/Analytics or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (5–10+ years) in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-level solutions in Sustainability Reporting with a focus on reporting across CSRD, CDP/Ecovadis, Scope 3, Supplier Reporting.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture in the Sustainability domain, with a focus on carbon management and reporting
- Experience with Agile delivery, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Familiar with data analysis tools like PowerBI, SQL, Databricks, Datasphere.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
- Prior leadership experience, with the ability to guide and mentor technical teams.
