Your key responsibilities

The Digital functional experts in this cluster will focus on designing, building, and maintaining compliance solutions for product and ingredient management.

Together with product development and compliance teams across our businesses, to understand new opportunities and translate them into digital solutions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and desired capabilities, understand the value to dsm-firmenich and provide constructive challenges where appropriate.
Accountable for executing technical solution design considering customer & user experience, target audiences, data modelling and relationships. This includes integration implications with other internal and external platforms, functional logic, etc.
Owns and manage the performance and support of key applications and empower the support team.
Be accountable for technical development of new and improvements of existing applications as part of projects, ensuring coordination with other team members. In particular:
- Develop and maintain Oracle database applications using the PL/SQL programming language.
- Design and develop database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL.
- Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of PL/SQL code.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PL/SQL code.
Provide technical knowledge to the Business and within our IS team to ensure project delivery and sustainable support of our solutions.

You bring

Primary Skills & Technical Expertise: ETL → PL/SQL, strong SQL/Data Analysis capabilities, and ongoing development of skills in Python, VueJS, and PL‑SQL.
Experience: 10+ years in application development within industries such as Chemical, Pharma, Healthcare, Consumer Packaging Goods, and Consultancy.
Digital Product & Application Development: Solid understanding of digital product development in the process industry, experience turning business ideas into digital tools, and interest in application UI/UX design.
Infrastructure & Technology Knowledge: Experience in application infrastructure support and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, middleware technologies, and cybersecurity aspects.
Emerging Technology Interests: Interest in ElasticSearch, AI, and queueing technologies.
Education & Communication: Minimum bachelor's degree with a technical focus, very good communication skills, and fluency in English.
