The Customer Development Manager, Dietary Supplements will Identify and develop growth opportunities in new and existing channels in alignment with dietary supplements regional strategy, actively investigate and deeply understand market dynamics, including consumer needs and market trends, and customer brand strategy as well helping to achieve new business growth across a diverse set of customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive go-to-market plans targeting agile dietary supplement brands.
  • Build opportunity pipeline to meet business goals.
  • Business acumen and financial skills are needed to evaluate key decisions regarding business case development to help prioritize and operating budget/resource investments.
  • Guide evaluation and expansion into new customer and business segments (customer, ingredients, forms, health benefit platforms).
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to execute launch phase of project.
  • Identify key stakeholders within the customers’ organization to build and foster strong relationships leading to a mutually beneficial partnership.

You Bring:

  • BS/BA in science, technology, or business-related field; MBA degree is a plus.
  • Proven previous business development experience and success in the Dietary Supplement category
  • At least 5 years of experience in B-to-B marketing/business development, preferably within science-based healthcare organizations (e.g., consumer health and/or supplements business segments)
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer CPG, nutrition, or wellness brands a plus
  • Knowledge of dietary supplement industry preferred.
  • Possess business acumen and financial skills to evaluate key decisions regarding business case development to help prioritize and operating budget/resource investments.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and operate within established guidelines without day-by-day supervision.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills.
  • International working experience a plus.
