The Challenge:

Director, Digital Marketing, Engagement  &  e-Commerce is a global role that reports into the Senior Global Vice President, Marketing & Innovation and is responsible for providing leadership and vision to drive the i-Health business.  The successful candidate will develop the i-Health digital strategy, work with cross-functional team members and manage agencies to help drive demand creation for the business. Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce best practices and expertise are required to succeed in the role.    The position will need to align efforts within the brands strategy and P&L.

 

i-Health develops, markets and distributes branded consumer products that support health and wellness with leading brands such as Culturelle , AZO and Estroven. These brands have strong leadership positions in their categories and have demonstrated significant growth in the last 5 years.  We strongly support these brands with significant marketing support and investment and the brands are widely distributed in all class of trade, both brick and mortar and online.  Our dedication to our brands and products is a commitment solidly backed by quality ingredients, stringent quality control measures and continuous improvement through research and innovation. In the role of Director, Digital Marketing, Engagement  &  e-Commerce, you will:

 

  • Develop and manage the Marketing Tech Stack and the technology that goes behind the executions: Adobe Platforms, BI tools and Tablou.
  • Manage web and the Customer site experience  to  allow us to tell personalized story and engage with consumer
  • Oversee digital media and manage the strategy and execution of digital media plans. 
  • Develop 2-4 year i-Health holistic “go forward” plans
  • Find new ways to connect our audiences by identifying channels and the link it back to i-Health to improve consumer journey
  • Manage and develop the e-Commerce Consumer Programs, creating a plan for tools that connect and provide efficiencies to engage consumers across different retailer platforms. 
  • Support Customer Service through understanding how consumers are reacting to and engaging with i-Health and incorporating these data to better respond engage with consumers
  • Improve Analytics by combining learnings, making conclusions and identifying the path forward
  • Manage Direct to Consumer efforts by reviewing  acquisition and retention strategies.

 

What we want to see in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of digital marketing experience (with company or agency) with demonstrable transformational impact through development and implementation of a cross-organizational digital strategy required
  • Budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills required
  • Significant marketing experience within CPG or retail categories, preferably with global responsibilities, required.  Experience working with major online retailers is a plus
  • Experience directly managing others required
  • Knowledge of P&L, and other disciplines (Operations, Finance, Sales, Quality and Regulatory)
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills
  • Well-versed in the effective use of digital analytics including predictive analytics
  • Extensive agency management experience
  • Strong understanding and passion for the technical aspects of digital business and marketing techniques, e-Commerce, digital analytics, and UX
  • Excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills and experience working as a partner with the senior leadership team
  • Successful leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver major digital initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-past, entrepreneurial environment and work effectively with multiple, changing, time-sensitive priorities
  • Demonstrates a team-first, low ego management style
