Country Commercial Controller

As Country Commercial Controller, you are a trusted business partner to the local management team. You monitor business and financial performance, provide clear insights and proactive advice, and support sound decision-making. You lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensure strong financial control, and drive compliance with local statutory and corporate requirements. You also lead and develop two Legal Entity Controllers, ensuring strong collaboration, clear accountability and consistent financial governance across entities. Your contribution helps us run our operations efficiently, sustainably, and in line with regional targets.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead sales, OPEX and CAPEX budgeting and forecasting processes in line with regional targets
- Monitor financial and commercial performance, providing timely insights and recommendations to management
- Analyze sales, margins, product and customer profitability to support commercial strategy and decisions
- Manage working capital, credit limits, collections and cash planning in close collaboration with Sales and Credit Management
- Oversee product costing, manufacturing cost analysis and inventory performance, supporting cost optimization at site level
- Ensure accurate financial controlling, closing, reporting, transfer pricing and full compliance with local tax and statutory requirements
- lead and coach two Legal Entity Controllers, ensuring high-quality controlling, timely reporting and compliance across legal entities

You bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA or MBA is a plus)
- At least 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally in a Commercial Controlling role
- in depth Finance&Accounting process understanding and knowledge of local rules & legislations (civil/corporate/tax/law)
- Solid understanding of financial planning, performance management and accounting principles
- Experience in a manufacturing and international environment is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, business mindset and confidence working with stakeholders
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Experience with SAP FI/CO is preferred
