As our successful Cluster Leader & Senior Account Manager – BCIP, you will lead our commercial efforts across Turkiye and Iran for the Baking, Confectionery, & Ingredient Processing (BCIP) segment.

You will drive the BCIP strategy and key customer relationships. Act as the Cluster Leader for Ingredient Solutions in Turkiye and Iran, overseeing cross-segment alignment, regional team coordination, and business execution.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and market-connected leader to own the P&L for a critical region, foster strong distributor and customer engagement, and lead cross-functional growth efforts in a complex and fast-evolving market landscape.

 

Your key responsibilities:

Segment & Customer Strategy – BCIP

·       Lead the execution of the BCIP segment strategy in Turkiye and Iran, tailoring global priorities to regional market needs.

·       Define and implement strategic account plans for top regional clients across bakery, confectionery, & Ingredient Processing ensuring alignment with growth targets and profitability goals.

·       Identify long-term opportunities with key accounts, initiate new projects, and drive innovation-focused discussions to position dsm-firmenich solutions as industry differentiators.

·       Actively monitor the competitive landscape and incorporate insights into your account development plans.

Commercial Ownership

·       Drive profitable sales growth and margin improvement across the BCIP portfolio, including enzymes, hydrocolloids, vitamins, and other functional ingredients.

·       Manage the full sales process including demand planning input, price strategy, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.

·       Oversee distributor relationships in both Turkiye and Iran, ensuring performance management, capability building, and compliance with dsm-firmenich standards.

Cluster Leadership

·       Serve as the Cluster Leader for Turkiye & Iran within Ingredient Solutions, acting as the local leadership point for the region.

·       Coordinate activities across segments (e.g., Dairy, Beverage, BCIP), ensuring efficient internal collaboration, commercial rhythm, and external messaging consistency.

·       Partner with application, regulatory, supply chain, and finance teams to support seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

·       Represent the cluster in regional leadership discussions and contribute to the broader strategy development for the AMET regions.

Project and Portfolio Development

·       Champion regional rollout of innovations, market concepts, and technical solutions in coordination with global and regional marketing and application teams.

·       Ensure successful trial planning, customer presentations, and project delivery in collaboration with the application & technical service team.

·       Identify regional portfolio gaps and feed customer/market feedback into the innovation pipeline.

You bring:

·       Bachelors or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Business, or a related field.

·       8+ years of experience in food ingredients, B2B sales, or segment-focused roles, with a strong network in the baking or confectionery industries.

·       Experience managing customers and/or distributors in Turkiye and/or Iran, with a solid understanding of local business dynamics.

·       Proven success in account planning, opportunity pipeline management, and driving P&L outcomes.

·       Strategic mindset with strong execution skills, attention to detail, and resilience in complex markets.

·       Collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with experience managing cross-functional teams or projects.

·       Fluent in the English and Turkish language. Farsi would also be an advantage.

·       Willingness to travel frequently across Turkiye and Iran.
