Job Title: Chapter Lead – Product Data Management
Location: Barcelona, Spain or Geneva, Switzerland
The Chapter Lead is responsible for leading and developing a group of professionals within a specific area of expertise, known as a "chapter."
You will play a crucial role across two key dimensions: people management and delivery leadership. As a people manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating a highly engaged chapter by fostering growth, encouraging collaboration, and building a high-performance team. In your senior delivery role, you will drive the success of platforms, products, and projects that enable and support core business strategies.
This chapter focuses on shaping and executing the digital product roadmap for Product Data Management, encompassing key domains such as Product Specifications, Safety Data, Claims Data, and more. It will lead the consolidation of legacy systems to establish a unified and reliable single source of truth, seamlessly integrated within our digital ecosystem. The chapter will also be responsible for managing internal delivery teams and external vendors, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
Your key responsibilities
- People Management: Create an engaging and collaborative environment by coaching, providing feedback and investing in growth & development of chapter members.
- Performance management: Fostering a high-performance culture including performance management of chapter members.
- Talent Management: Retaining, seeking, and recruiting talent.
- Capability Management: Assessing and building current & future capabilities. Managing (internal & external) capacity and relationships. Ensuring the right utilization of chapter members.
- Senior delivery role: Contributing to business strategy by acting as a delivery lead, project manager for special assignment or senior product manager.

You bring
- A solid understanding of digital product development in the process industry.
- 10+ years of experience within a GxP digital maintenance and operations environment (Chemical Industry, Healthcare, Consultancy, etc.)
- Customer obsession, with a strong ability to own and drive initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP EH&S/PLM, Product Compliance, and the SAP ecosystem and knowledge of relational database management systems, i.e., Oracle.
- Strong people management skills, and experience in an agile way of working. Scrum methodology as a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders with understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Fluent in English.
