Job title – Senior Expert, Accounting (Animal Nutrition)
Location – Calamba, Philippines
Business Partnering with Key business stakeholders. Performing day-to-day accounting functions, month end activities, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports.
Your key responsibilities

Financial Accounting - prepare journal for accruals, adjustments and relevant month end activities

Financial Reporting - Sanity checks financial data and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and resources are effectively allocated, and costs are controlled.

Budgeting and Forecasting - Support in collecting inputs for annual budgets in coordination with department heads and management.

Compliance and Risk Management - Compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures to mitigate financial risks

Timely, accurate and complete filing of Statutory, GST and tax to local authorities

You bring

Degree/Diploma qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA will be preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience in multi-national companies environment. Manufacturing and SAP experience, preferred

Strong knowledge and experience with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and compliance standards in the relevant geographic regions where the company operates. This includes familiarity with local IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, operations, and other departments, to achieve common financial goals and objectives.

Analytical Thinking: Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret financial information, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
