You’ll be responsible to:


  • Perform Batch Record Reviews
  • Customer Complaint Investigations
  • Ensures that product release or rejection decisions on batch level in regard of quality attributes are in full compliance with applicable GMP rules, regulatory and legal requirements, and customer agreements.
  • Manage quality issues between all involved players, such as product management, regulatory affairs, Business Group quality unit and customers.
  • Perform and coordinate internal and external audits and inspections to satisfy customers and authorities and to support operational improvements to ensure high process and product capabilities.
  • Perform Deviation/Investigation Reports and Root Cause Analysis
  • Partake in Qualification & Validation of Systems, Production Processes and Analytical Methods, Pest Control and Food Safety
  • Certification Preparation (i.e. Allergen, Gluten Free, Residual Solvents etc.)
  • Partake in Work Team and Operational Team Meetings in Support of Operations
  • Perform Kosher and Halal activities
  • Perform Product Stability Testing Programs
  • Perform Product Quality Reviews
  • Management of Change Approvals/Implementation Locally, Regionally and Globally
  • Review of Product Data Sheets, Directions for Testing and Specifications (Product, Raw Material and Packaging)
  • Preparation of Customer Letters of Acceptance, QT Letters and Signature Release Letters
  • First Time Right Reporting
  • Non-Routine Laboratory Testing Requests
  • Final Product Label Review
  • Reprocessing Approval
  • Monthly Material Disposition Update and KPI Tracking
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Evaluation
  • Product Shelf-Life Extension
  • Project Management Activities
  • Customer Quality Agreement Preparation
  • Departmental KPI Tracking
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Preparation, review, and approval clean.
  • Ensures that the competencies of the employees are sufficient to let them perform their tasks in a SHE responsible way.  Ensures necessary training complete.
  • Demonstrates SHE leadership by setting standards and encouraging colleagues to act responsibly and safely.
  • Ensures incidents are investigated, reported, and risks are assessed on a timely basis.
  • Ensures awareness and follows all DSM Life Saving Rules and SHE Security Behaviors.
  • Supports plant and corporate initiatives as outlined in the manufacturing plan.

What we look for in you

  • Four-year technical degree
  • Broad knowledge of quality management and food safety management systems
  • General knowledge of chemistry and/or engineering and/or biology
  • Good understanding of general management practices and processes.
  • Knowledge in Kosher/Halal
  • Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices for Feed, Food, Pharmaceutical Excipient, Dietary Supplement, ICH Q7 for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Cosmetic Ingredients.
