Job Title: Manager, D&T Project Management & Agile
Location: Maastricht, Netherlands
As a Digital & Tech project manager at dsm-firmenich, you will be driving the shaping and delivery of digital solutions that improve business processes, enhance product performance, and enable strategic goals. This role is a leadership role managing the implementation of complex business application investments, offering senior experience in working with business and technical teams to drive large-scale business platform improvements and transformations. You’ll contribute to building our digital backbone while applying and advancing core project management competencies, agile delivery, and stakeholder collaboration.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage enterprise critical digital & technology programs, ensuring disciplined execution, benefits realization, and adherence to PMO governance and financial steering models.
- Shape digital technology initiatives and investment cases in partnership with D&T management teams, providing clarity on scope, dependencies, risks, and value realization.
- Act as a project-level integrator between business and technology stakeholders, steering digital investment decisions and resolving cross project tradeoffs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of portfolio, program, project, and agile management standards, tools, and capabilities in line with enterprise PMO frameworks and industry best practices.

You bring
- Advanced academic background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, providing a solid foundation for enterprise‑level portfolio, program, and project leadership.
- Experience (5+ years) leading IT programs and projects: Proven track record in leading and governing IT projects, demonstrating accountability for end‑to‑end delivery, cross‑team coordination, and realization of intended business outcomes.
- Demonstrated mastery (3+ years) of PMI portfolio, program, and project management practices: Understanding of portfolio, program, and project management standards, including governance, benefits management, risk and dependency management, and value realization.
PMI and/or IPMA certification is strongly preferred and indicative of professional standing. - Stakeholder and influence‑based leadership capability: Strong ability to lead through influence rather than formal line authority, engaging and aligning business and technology stakeholders, steering committees, and cross‑functional teams in complex decision‑making environments.
- Advanced communication and collaboration competence: Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills to lead multi‑disciplinary, cross‑domain teams, foster constructive challenge, and continuously improve outcomes by actively seeking, receiving, and acting on feedback.
