Internship in HR: dsm-firmench Internship Program Improvement
Are you a motivated student with an interest in employer branding, talent engagement, and program design? Join our HR and Talent Acquisition teams for an internship where you will help redesign and enhance the dsm-firmenich Internship Program to make it more attractive, engaging, and impactful. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in talent strategy and process improvement while working in a dynamic and international environment.
What You’ll Do
During your internship, you will identify and implement improvement areas in the current internship program. This includes enhancing the visibility and branding of dsm-firmenich among students in the region, streamlining program processes, and improving engagement with interns during and beyond their internship period. You will also work on initiatives to strengthen hiring manager involvement and boost internal branding of the program, ensuring it becomes a key component of the company’s talent strategy.

By the end of this internship, you will have contributed to creating an upgraded, future-proof Internship Program for dsm-firmenich. The program will not only attract top talent from HS Zuyd and Maastricht University but also keep them engaged throughout the internship and beyond, supporting long-term talent pipelines and potential future hires.

What You Bring
- Field of Study: HBO/WO Business Studies (formerly People & Business Management/MER).
- Experience: Experience in HR-related activities is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, well-developed analytical thinking, strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative mindset and proactivity.
Eligibility criteria and conditions:
• Language requirements: Fluent in English
• Final Selection Day: 12.01.2026 in dsm-firmenich office in Maastricht
• Start of the internship: 02.02.2026
• Duration: 3-5 months
• Studies: currently enrolled at a Dutch university or applied science university (hogeschool). Your university will cosign the internship agreement
• Location: dsm-firmenich Maastricht office
• Compensation: Internship salary is €550 per month.
