Global Tax Accounting / Pillar II Lead

From optimizing our global Effective Tax Rate to ensuring compliance with OECD Global Minimum Tax, you’ll lead transformative projects, implement and maintain cutting-edge systems like Oracle TRCS, and coach a talented team of tax professionals. Your key responsibilities
- Act as key contact person for all Tax Reporting and Effective Tax Rate related matters within dsm-firmenich globally, including actively coaching and developing Tax Accounting and Pillar II Managers
- Define and implement Tax Accounting and Pillar II strategy, including policies, standards, and guidelines
- Oversee annual and quarterly closing processes, ensuring accurate Effective Tax Rate forecasts and actuals
- Manage relationships with external auditors to ensure smooth audits and compliance
- Ensure global compliance with Pillar II requirements
- Lead the Tax Accounting and Pillar II expertise center, including knowledge sharing, attending seminars, and driving the technology roadmap

You bring
- Academic background in tax law or tax economics, with at least 10 years of proven expert-level experience
- Extensive knowledge of international tax structures and planning, including fiscal sensitivities across countries
- Strong expertise in IAS 12 and tax reporting methods and reporting packages; Oracle TRCS is a plus.
- Affinity with tax technology and ability to lead technology-related initiatives
- Fluent in English and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Result-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with strong organizational, planning, and relationship-building skills; able to work independently under high pressure and changing environments
