As Automation Engineer, you will manage, maintain, and develop the site OT and related facility and technology. Improve the automation and digital operation level. You will participate in expert teams and advise within areas of expertise, implement local OT/IT related Capex projects. And ensure that the project objectives and milestones are met within approved budget, timing and in accordance with all relevant compliance rules and agreed quality standards. You will participate and promote cooperation among Engineering, SHE, Quality, Production etc. to improve the facility and equipment reliability of Capex projects and daily operations, and ensure them in compliance with SHE, Quality requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- To study and implement the LSR, SHE rules and regulations of the company/department, and participate in or organize the SHE activities of the unit.Follow dsm-firmenich SHEQ requirements and Site related standards to ensure project to be executed in a safe manner. Support safety, health and environmental needs in the process of continuous improvement.Timely report potential risks, accident/incident/attempted incident and participate in accident investigation. Define clear technical scope to meet the requirements for Automation/Instrumentation Programming such as Emerson Delta V, Siemens Step7 etc.
- Guides and supervises the contractors during engineering and construction. Assist the contractors to complete the loop test. Assist the contractors to complete the calibration of instruments.Assist the contractors to complete the test and Commissioning of DCS. Leading the Commissioning of project. Provide technical support for contractors.Collect all relevant documents and forward to running business after project.Assist the contractor to complete electrical installation/commissioning.
- Responsible for IT and OT compliance as internal ad external required.Update Autocad Electrical and instrument drawing regularly. Regular conduct design verification and field verification for instrumental safety provisions to ensure ISP works always.
- Trouble shooting for E/I failure.Parameter tuning of instrument control loop.Prepare PPM plan for automation, include spare parts.Be responsible for Process Safety related works, such as SIS, the quality of E/I redesign, the quality of validation.Taking part in the security training. Stick to the security policy, requirement, and confidentiality agreement. Be responsible for the digital tools management of sites. Support digital problem solving for another team.

You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electronics/Instrument relevant automation discipline related.Be familiar with Word, Excel and PPT, Autocad.
- Programming ability of PLC,EmersonDelta V, Siemens Step7 etc.Be able to read technical English. Essential for oral communication in English.
- 10 years engineering and maintenance experience in Chemical/Biological/Pharma Industries.
- Basic understanding of chemical process.
- Management experience of local engineering design institute and /or contractors.
- Knowledge of own or other disciplines. Cross-functional communication skills.
