Associate Director, Pharma HNC APAC

Job title – Associate Director, Pharma, HNC APAC

Location – Singapore

 

Drive and implement our global and regional Pharma segment strategy in APAC. Partner with and support Account Managers across the Region in the implementation of our Pharma strategy for targeted markets and customer accounts in the highly regulated industry. The person is also expected to strongly drive growth for the Pharma segment in APAC.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development, customer engagement activities, and the innovation pipeline for the Pharma segment.
  • Work with Global segment to develop and implement the Pharma segment strategy in APAC, ensuring strong cross-functional team performance to realize strategy growth objectives. Go above and beyond to ensure strategy is implemented, achieved and tracked periodically. 
  • Accountable for Pharma APAC sales targets as well as oversee and ensure a healthy and robust CRM and growth pipeline. Influence and support Account Managers to deliver on overall Pharma targets and KPIs.
  • Owns the Pharma pipeline and is responsible for ensuring that the needs of the region is understood by relevant global stakeholders.
  • Project manage project funnel for Pharma in the region to ensure future growth targets are met with a healthy conversion of opportunities.
  • Support Account Managers to drive taste synergies and cross-selling for Pharma customers in the region.
  • Work with Account Managers and commercial team in regional pricing, commercial and tendering activities.
  • Support global and regional teams in implementing customer service agreements.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports to line management and relevant stakeholders, measuring and taking action on performance metrics.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or science.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in B2B markets or B2C in the pharma industry.
  • Experience in navigating highly regulated and long innovation pipeline for Pharma industry. Proven track record of strong customer centricity.
  • Ability to identify consumer insights, business and other opportunities, define innovation strategies, transform them into business wins and achieve their implementation.
  • Experience in planning, implementing and managing market development activities.
  • Experience in regional pricing, commercial and tendering activities.
  • Ability to build quality and trusting customer relationships through strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively deal with different cultures.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen to translate opportunity in business results.
