Job Title: Associate Fragrance Development Director
Location: Mumbai
In this role you’ll drive mutual success by developing winning fragrances for the category assigned, for our clients’ brands. You’ll be a guided partner to perfumers, offering consumer trends, creative inspirations, and strategic ideas. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Win business by managing pro-active and reactive development of fragrance to answer client's briefs. Support Sales effort (olfactive presentations & olfactive brand servicing). Build organization capability, sustains talent pipeline by starting training Assistant FDMs.
- Gains, defends, and revitalizes business by developing olfactive vision for brands/category (usually at local or regional level) and generating fragrance solutions.Knows the client's key brands (history and current) cross-category, from a marketing and olfactive perspectives, and constantly seek for synergies with working category.
- Builds strong network and partnerships with other FDMs, Perfumers, Sales, CI and Marketing teams.Identify business opportunities (pro-actively) and executes relevant action plans.
- Fragrance development evaluation and collection build up.Leads inter key projects and participates regularly to experts panels across categories.
- Detects olfactive trends, needs for category (Marketing insight), analyzes and decodes consumer data and turns them into concrete fragrance solutions.
- Participates to category strategy definition and execution (across functions: CMS, applied research, MR, perfumers, sales).

You bring :
- University degree in related field.
- Experience - six or more consecutive years within fragrance development with experience in Skin Cleansing fragrances preferable.
- Creative & strategic thinker, with a growth mindset and curiosity to learn & adapt to change.
- Olfactively trained and proven track record of successful fragrance launches.
- Digital savviness, great communication, organisation, and project management skills;
- Ability to work well independently and in a group
