Application Specialist

As an Application Specialist you will support the design of new flavour solutions by crafting new product recipes ensuring the taste is fully aligned with functional and sensory formulations requirements. You will be seeing as an expert by leveraging your flavour portfolio and technology expertise and your ability to craft innovative healthier recipes in the area of Health, Nutrition and care products. You will interact daily with flavourists, sensory and innovation project teams to support the launches of new taste solutions and promotions and roll out during customer visits

Your key responsibilities

Understands and develop new applications related formulations to HNC segments (Dietary supplement, medical nutrition, nutrition improvement, pharma/OTC, early life nutrition
Able to operate with lab and Pilot plant equipment’s (UHT, Depositor cooking, compressed tablets, OTC syrups, etc)
Good knowledge of flavours and Taste modulations and how to promote those technologies within HNC applications
Supports Senior scientists in the product development for innovation and customers briefs using the required knowledge in flavours and processes.
Be involved in tasting sessions (organization of sessions, preparation of samples and tastings)
Follow established HSE rules and provide regularly areas of improvements, especially in regards of designing new procedures and risks analysis

Must have

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Chemistry
Fluent in English; French will be an asset
A strong scientific background, along with practical lab experience
Experience in developing new flavors
