Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Europe Lab Services Director and based in our Center of Expertise in Geneva, your mission is to operationally support the Perfumery & Beauty division in the creation and development of new fragrances.
In your role, you manage the production of bases and application samples to meet our internal service level agreements according to our Corporate QHSS&E rules, our business priorities and the global best practices.
This includes more particularly:
- Lead and manage a team of 12 technicians, ensuring first their safety and business continuity.
- Monitor internal sample orders to ensure the best punctuality rate while ensuring the best efficiency.
- Keep improving the application production processes, from the internal customer request to the delivery, with the aim of guaranteeing its reproducibility in terms of quality and delay.
- Guarantee the accuracy and the availability of stocks of required materials (lab supplies, raw materials, packs).
- Ensure data are properly recorded and traced in the different software for future analysis and to drive further decisions.
- Infuse a safety and lean mindset in the team in line with our global Lab 4.0 strategy by coaching and leading workshops.
- Participate actively in cross-regional task forces related to global laboratory services initiatives.
- Report and monitor the related KPI’s including the budget by establishing action plans to achieve the defined targets.

You Bring:
- Engineering degree, ideally in Chemistry.
- Experience managing a team within a laboratory/manufacturing/industrialization environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Results-oriented, proactive and accountable.
- Excellent analytics and IT skills (advanced MS Excel ability, VBA programming and any other data visualization tool such as Qlik or Power BI will be a plus).
- Mastering lean management concepts with proven practical experiences – a Lean Certification will be a plus.
- Fluent in French and English, you are strongly interested in technical processes.
