We are currently looking for a Process Engineer Coop at our Belvidere, NJ office.
The 2025 dsm-firmenich Spring Summer Coop Program will begin Jan 6th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025.
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5/40 hours per week)

Your Key Responsibilities

Gain an understanding of the plant, processes, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas, such as Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE), Quality, Improve Plant Engineering, Operations, and more.

Learn about continuous improvement and apply new manufacturing 4.0 techniques like advanced analytics and digital tools.

Communicate with people diverse in educational levels and experience.

Learn the importance of interpreting and implementing government safety, environmental, and quality regulations in line with company policies.

Orientation to the company will be presented and an on-going job performance assessment will be provided.

Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors currently enrolled in a college/university undergraduate degree program in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical engineering or related field.

Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site beginning January 6, 2025 – August 14, 2025

Demonstrated ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties.

Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated Computer skills appropriate for junior level engineering
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
