As a Senior Sourcing Manager for Aroma Chemicals, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we source critical raw materials that power our fragrance and beauty innovations. You’ll combine strategic sourcing expertise with deep market understanding to drive value, resilience, and sustainability across a global supplier network.
This is a high‑impact role offering strong ownership, close collaboration with global partners, and the opportunity to bring progress to life every day.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • You’ll lead the development and execution of the purchasing strategy for a defined aroma chemicals raw materials portfolio.
  • You’ll negotiate and formalize supplier contracts to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership across sub‑categories.
  • You’ll build strong expertise in raw materials, market dynamics, and competitive factors, contributing to market intelligence reporting.
  • You’ll manage a portfolio of suppliers in close collaboration with Compliance and Supply Chain teams to ensure on‑time delivery, lead times, and quality.
  • You’ll qualify new suppliers and introduce new raw materials in full compliance with internal processes and standards.
  • You’ll partner with internal stakeholders to generate ideas that deliver savings, cash impact, and simplification, while owning budget, RAF, and forward‑looking costs.

You bring

  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Purchasing, Finance, or a Scientific field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, ideally in chemicals and/or aroma chemicals.
  • Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation expertise, with experience working in a global business environment.
  • Willingness to travel and engage frequently with suppliers across regions.
  • A self‑starter mindset with resilience, accountability, and rigor, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluent English and Chinese communication skills; strong Microsoft Office skills, basic ERP knowledge, and SAP experience preferred.
