(Associate) Director Regional HR Perfumery & Beauty China

(Associate) Director Regional HR Perfumery & Beauty (P&B) China plays a critical role in aligning the HR strategy with the overall business objectives of the P&B Business Unit in China. This is a leadership position which serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within P&B, providing strategic HR guidance and end-to-end HR accountability across the full stack of the P&B China business from commercial through to operations. This role requires strong leadership skills and manages a team of 3 seasoned HR Business Partners.
Your key responsibilities
- Business & Stakeholder intimacy: you will forge intense and lasting relationships within P&B China and with HR counterparts across the region and globally to drive the partnership and deliver on our business objectives
- Strategic thinking & business acumen: you will think E-2-E in terms of provision of HR support across all areas of the BU from commercial through to operations, having a stella understanding of how business operate, production operations and financial understanding
- Strategic HR thinking and execution: you will traverse strategic HR thinking in areas such as strategy development, performance and talent management, org design and development etc and at the same time you are not afraid to get your hands dirty, executing on HR processes, employee relations cases, and full cycle HR execution
- HRBP activities: alongside managing the HRBP team for P&B China, you will also be allocated a client group within the BU in order to partner with directly
- Strong Leadership skills: you embody our values and behaviors with the ability to lead a team of seasoned professionals, create followship and progressive HR thinking. You act as a coach, supporting the team in their day-to-day and longer term development.
- Member of China HR Leadership Team: You act as senior HR actively involved in HR projects and decisions which concerns China Region.

You bring
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role required
- Experience managing others directly along with strong leadership skills and act as a role model as this role manages a team of direct reports
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Deep business thinking with strong drive and accountability to deliver
- Experience to support commercial and manufacturing site
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
